Artist: Brie Trenerry
Brie Trenerry is a Melbourne based
artist primarily working with video and digital media. She has
held solo exhibitions in Melbourne and has recently been curated into exhibitions in London, Berlin, Warsaw, Rotterdam and New York
Trenerry was one of the founding members of Kings ARI and its associated video editing facility Inner Melbourne Studio One, where she was the series editor for contemporary art program Public Hangings, screened nationwide in Australia. In conjunction with her practice she now works as a freelance video editor for artists locally and internationally and teaches video at VCA. In her video works, Trenerry's characters

they are subjected to recurrent physical manifestations of their
own anxieties. Her work often deals with the uneasy relationship humankind has with the natural world.
