NOTFAIR has outgrown it’s original venue so we have moved to a spacious warehouse in Richmond that will do justice to our 32 artists.

Prizes!

We are delighted to announce that NOTFAIR will host three new art prizes  - the inaugural Arkley Prize sponsored by Howard Arkley's mum worth $15,000; an aquisitive prize sponsored by media management company Profile Talent for $5,000 and the Lipman Karas acquisitive prize worth $5000.

Talk title: 'Fuck Me Dead': Folk Modernism and the return of Grunge

Carrie has been an arts writer, researcher and social commentator for 15 years. She has an academic background in Philosophy and Fine Arts and is currently doing a PhD on criminal responsibility .

Carrie has written on topics as varied as the ethics of collecting Indigenous art to the etiquette of begging as a contributor and columnist to publications such as Australian Art Collector, The Art Life, New Matilda, The Punch and the Spectator


Grantpirrie will be parking their  truck project att 49 Stephenson St from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday the 7th.

Sydney’s Grantpirrie Gallery has transformed an 8 metre truck into an art gallery, which will be parked at various sites around Melbourne during 5-8 August. The cargo space of the truck will feature new work by artist Mel O’Callaghan, including photographic and film projection, and a sculptural installation.
